The best way to start is simply to start. Integrating Maker Space into your classroom can be as simple as allowing students the time and space to create. Our library will have it’s very own maker kit, but SD22 has recently added a maker kit that is available to rent at the DRC. The SD22 Tech Team also puts on Maker Space workshops- keep your eye out for our next Pro-D and if you can check one out! The following articles are wonderful resources to get started in your classroom today.
Our Library is currently accepting any donations of materials that can be used to create. So far all of our materials are non-tech related but I am looking into purchasing some very cool tech resources click the links to check them out! (makey makey, minecraft Ed subscription, little bits, stikbots)
